
Breckenridge Ski Resort is one of the most visited ski resorts in Breckenridge, Colorado, United States. The ski resort is an alpine resort and is operated by Vail resorts, the world’s leading ski resort operators.
Vail Resorts also operate other leading ski resorts including Colorado beaver creek, Utah canyons, Park city mountain resort and many others.
The resort service hosted the first dew tour service in 2008 December. The event is hosted every year in the third and second week of December. The event is hosted in alliance with Action Sports.
The mountain was first opened in 1961 to the general public. There was one chairlift that had a midway unloading station.
A year later, second chairlift – a double chairlift was installed. It ran from Peak 8 to the top of lift 5.
Breckenridge Ski Resort can be accessed through hiking or chairlifts. In 2002 it carried out a massive expansion and lift upgrade.

Breckenridge uplift in 2002 was the most massive expansion in Colorado that year. It involved installing two chairlifts and addition of one at Peak 7. A high-speed six pack was built to service the new terrain.
After the completion of the project, Breckenridge became the first ski resort in Colorado with more than one high speed six pack.
It has around 31 Chair lifts including four high-speed six packs, six high speed quads and six double lifts.
Apart from that the resort also has 1 eight person gondola that was installed in 2007 and is operational
